Hosanna

It's strange to wake up on Palm Sunday to snow on the ground. Thankfully, it melted during the afternoon. We all got palm branches at church and remembered how Jesus rode into Jerusalem with the people praising him. My kids waved their branches during all the songs and it made my heart glad. Serenity sings a lot around the house as she's coloring or working. She sings songs of worship and you can tell that she means what she sings. Caspian makes his songs up and many times they are about Jesus, but they don't always make sense. Caspian looks angry in this little video we made for you, but he's just focused. Most of the day he ran around with his little palm branch with big smiles shouting, "Hosanna to the King!"

We did attend a birthday party for a dear friend. She turned 88. And just in case you think I am exaggerating about getting "fat face"...she asked me if I had the mumps! I laughed so hard, it hurt my chubby cheeks! If you knew how sweet and wonderful she is, you would have laughed too. Only 2 more weeks of medicine, then that part should be much easier. But today (or sometime within the next couple days) will be week #10 for baby. That means we are one-fourth of the way to birth! So this is a real milestone! And it makes me want to say "Hosanna to the King!"
