Limbo!

Well, we had a party today. Helen's birthday is officially "in limbo." And I don't mean that we sang silly songs and made her crawl under a bamboo pole. We celebrated Helen's one year birthday together as a family today: February 20. Her birth certificate still says March 8th, though until we complete the re-adoption process here in the U.S. The girls in the family spent the whole day at parties. A baby shower, then a bridal shower, then a birthday. The boys played wii while Micah "babysat." Really, Micah was sick in bed. When the girls came home and it was time to pick up, all the boys were dressed like ninjas (this has been going on for a few days since we watched "Karate Kid"). When I ask them to put toys away, they bow and reply, "yes, sensei." At lunch today, JT ended up with the Strawberry Shortcake cup. Serenity giggled, so Enoch told her, "don't you dare tease the ninja master. The ninja master needs respect."
