Last night was Serenity's band concert...the elementary school gym was packed! She did a beautiful job. I can always hear her because she is the only oboe--quite an honor. I tried to get a picture of her "no place like home" shoes (sparkly and red) but she got the giggles.
This morning we received official news that our Embassy appointment is on the 29th of December! I think my hands are still shaking...it's incredibly hard to type. Helen will be home to hear Serenity practice her oboe by January 2nd. Micah and Rebekah will leave for Ethiopia just before Christmas.
