Christmas music
I heard a song for helen on the radio. It was written by Steven Curtis Chapman as he waits to see his little girl who went to be with Jesus. The words are so true for us as we wait to see our little girl. Only we don't have to wait for Jesus to return or for him to bring us Home...
...it looks like Micah will be traveling this Christmas. We find out for sure TOMORROW! But until Helen is here, the words of this song are precious to me. Holding her will be like a taste of heaven. Every good gift God has given me points to the lasting beauty of my eternal Home. He is preparing a place for everyone who has trusted in His Son. And what was it like for God when His own Son finally "came home" (Acts 1:9). It was thirty-three years from the time that Jesus was born in Bethlehem until he got to go back to His Father again. Thirty three years is a long time to wait.
