well...Helen has taken her first steps. Up to ten. Really. Sometimes it's just one step, but she has walked as far as the dining room table to the sofa in the next room. And we all cheer and make a big fuss.
She knows how to do "SOOOOO BIG." I'd be suprised if she wasn't dreaming of a room full of people with their arms in the air repeating "SOOOOOOOO BIG"...we must look so strange through her eyes.
But our favorite new trick is the fish face. Did you know that you can't make a fish face and laugh at the same time? We know because Enoch can't make a fish face at all. He has too much cheek! Therefore, we laugh when he tries and we can't make the fish face. Helen is great at it though.
Today was a great day. Back on schedule. (Praise God for blizzards--everything was canceled today. Public school, boy scouts, wrestling...we had a family night.)
